Stone McQuire Vogt Architects was invited to participate in a competition to design a corporate training facility that would maximize the incorporation of sustainable design features.  The environmental objective was to create an energy efficient building with a low embodied energy content that would take into consideration its rural context.  Low-tech and minimum intervention design solutions established simplicity as the primary design principle in achieving  sustainable goals and objectives.
