THE VILLAGE AT BLUE MOUNTAIN

The expansion of Blue Mountain Ski Resort was designed to be a four seasons urban 'village' that encourage social interaction and community activity through architectural design.  Public spaces, plazas and residences are interconnected by urban streets, boardwalks and promenades, encouraging non-motorized transportation.  The buildings house restaurants, retail stores and other amentities expressing variations on the theme of rural Ontario architecture.
