The Husky Training Centre was an invited competition to design a corporate training facility maximizing the incorporation of sustainable design features.  The environmental objective was to create an energy efficient building with a low embodied energy content that would take into consideration its rural context.  Low-tech and  minimum intervention design solutions established simplicity as the overarching design principle.  This achieved a cost-effective building solution which maximized environmental design features.
